Fishing with the kids

We went down to Scottsville to visit Aunt Sarah and Uncle Nick for a few days. We decided to try our hand at fishing while we were there. We took the kids with us and they enjoyed almost everything except the actual act of fishing. Nick took us to a family pond that was full of catfish and a few others.

Uncle Nick got a bite so Brinley decided to help him out.

After they reeled it in and got it off the hook Brinley was terrified of the fish. She wanted nothing to do with it.

Landon had just a little interest in fishing. He spent the majority of the time watching Wreck It Ralph on Jennifer's Iphone.

Hopefully one day Landon starts to enjoy fishing. I think it will be a nice hobby for the two of us to enjoy.

Fishing is one of those hobbies that I am picking up later in life and I don't quite know everything that I want to know about it. However, it is something that I plan to continue to learn more about and I hope someday I have at least one of the kids that will enjoy this hobby with me. Thanks for reading and God bless!
