We had been going strong from open to close for the past 5 days at Disney and were all a little exhausted so we all decided to sleep in a little and head into the park a little later. We stopped to get some gas before getting into the park and somehow got turned and around and were unable to find our way back to the Disney parking lot. Needless to say I got frustrated and we had to drive back towards the hotel before finding our way to the parking lot. We finally made it and I calmed down and we got all of our things together to enjoy our last day in the park. We started off again with pictures at the entrance and down main street.
| Tinkerbell with a little pixie dust for our last day. |
| Everyone with Cinderella's Castle. (Along with the crane!) |
| I think this is the only picture that we got where Landon is holding Tinkerbell. He had trouble keeping his hands flat for her to stand on them. |
We had a few fast passes for the kids and Grandma and Grandpa to ride Peter Pan again. While they did that I waited in line at Be Our Guest Restaurant. It was about a 30 minute wait to just get in the door. We all got in and made our orders. The food was okay, but Brinley really enjoyed the dessert.
| If you remember from the movie they tell you to "try the grey stuff, it's delicious!" and as you can see Brinley thought so too. |
After lunch we decided to head over and meet one of the princesses, Ariel. We had met her at our lunch in Epcot, but we wanted to get a picture with her at the grotto.
| The kids did not want to sit with Ariel, so we all had to be in the picture. |
| Grandma and Grandpa got to hang out with Sebastian. |
Next we headed back to the back part of Fantasyland that we hadn't explored yet. The kids hadn't been to ride Dumbo yet, so that was first on our list.
| Grandpa and Landon getting strapped in. |
| The kids and I on the Dumbo that is separate from the ride that is just meant for pictures. |
| Brinley and Landon both loved Dumbo. |
Next we took a ride on the only small child roller coaster which is called the Barnstormer. Brinley was just barely tall enough to ride, but Landon had to sit this one out.
| Brinley and Grandpa on the Barnstormer. I am not sure who had more fun. |
| Riding the roller coasters Brinley wanted you to hold both of her hands. As you can see Grandpa met her demands. |
| They were both really excited after they got off. |
| Landon was enjoying playing and running around outside the ride. |
| After another ride with mommy. |
After a couple rides on the roller coaster we jumped on the train and headed to the front of the park so that we could catch the parade. We made it just in time for the start and both kids really enjoyed seeing all the different characters.
| Jennifer and Brinley with the parade. |
| Waving to the characters. |
| Landon telling Grandpa what is going on. |
| Grandma and Grandpa with Landon. |
After the parade was over we just decided to go and do a few more things around the park that we knew everyone liked. At this point we had done all the rides at least once that the kids were able to ride. Before we made our way back to the rides we decided to get some more pictures with the castle in the background. We had gotten the memory maker prior to our trip. This meant that we got the rights to all the pictures that were taken during our 6 days at the park and any of the photos that were taken on rides. We wanted to get our complete money's worth. So, why not stop at multiple photographers and get a few shots. You never know if somebody wasn't smiling or had their eyes closed until you see them later in the day. We definitely took full advantage of all the photographers.
| Grandpa and Landon with both big grins on their faces! |
| Brinley holding Tinkerbell along with her sidekick Landon. |
| Sometimes these two really get along. Here Brinley is giving her baby brother a hug. |
| I just loved this picture. If we could have just closed Main Street for a while this picture would have been perfect. |
| Jennifer and I spelling LOVE with our fingers. |
| A little kiss for my princess in front of the castle. |
| Grandparents and grandkids with Cinderella's castle. |
| Our little family. |
| Grandma and Grandpa needed just a little more pixie dust. |
Grandpa said he wanted to go ride the Haunted Mansion because he had slept through it the first time we rode it. So we added an extra fast pass for me and him to ride it while everyone else went to ride the Jungle Cruise. Right as we were getting on to ride it stopped and all the lights came on in the room. We were all told to head toward the exit without any explanation. Thankfully they gave us a ticket to re-enter with later in the day. So, we headed over to the Jungle Cruise to meet up with the rest of the crew. Now it was getting close to time for our dinner reservations so we headed over to the Crystal Palace Restaurant. This was a character dinner in which we would meet Pooh and his friends.
| Pooh came to say hello. The only thing I hated about the character meals is that the pictures were not the greatest because of all the people in the background and the fact that they didn't have anyone to come around with the characters to take pictures. This meant that we didn't get any pictures with all 6 of us. |
| Tigger and Brinley. |
| The Heflin's and Tigger. |
| Grandma wanted her picture with Tigger. |
| The kids both seem interested in something besides Piglet. |
| Eeyore seemed to be in a pretty good mood and was being silly with Jennifer and Landon. |
| Brinley was excited to see Eeyore. |
| Family picture with Eeyore. |
| Grandpa wanted his picture with Eeyore. |
While everyone was finishing up their dessert I rushed out really quick and went to see if I could get Tiana to sign our book. We had forgotten it when we met her a few days before. The staff was gracious enough to sneak me to the front of the line so that she could quickly sign our book.
We went back again to ride the Haunted Mansion and then headed over to It's a Small World for one last ride.
| Brinley on Small World with Grandma and Grandpa. Grandma was actually trying to FaceTime with Aunt Andrea during the ride, but the Wi-Fi cut out during it. |

| We headed back to the Barnstormer again because it was Brinley's favorite ride. Before we got to it we stopped and got some cotton candy for the kids to enjoy. Jennifer and I took Brinley on the roller coaster and Landon went with Grandma and Grandpa on Dumbo. They said that Landon ate cotton candy continuously during his ride on Dumbo. Meanwhile, Jennifer and I rode the Barnstormer 3 times in a row without even getting off. Brinley was having the time of her life! |
| We told Grandma and Grandpa that we wanted to ride Buzz Lightyear one last time. We got on and were having a lot of fun when the ride stopped for about 10 minutes while we were in the middle of it. This allowed Jennifer to max out her score, but it also meant that we were missing out on getting a good spot for the fireworks show. |
Since we took so long on the Buzz ride, Grandma and Grandpa got separated from us for the fireworks show. Brinley and I kept walking until we found a great spot. The staff members did ask that I take Brinley off my shoulders so that others could enjoy the fireworks. The show was amazing and both kids really enjoyed it. Tinker Bell flew right over us on the Tomorrowland Bridge.
| The fireworks show was spectacular. |
| So many different types of fireworks too! |
| Great way to end our vacation! |
| I really couldn't believe how many good shots I got while I was holding Brinley in my arms. |
| The Heflin crew with the castle lit up in the background. We have a couple of worn out kids! |
| They did another production after the fireworks and it was a display of all types of Disney movies that was projected onto the castle. If you look close you can see all the balloons from Up on the castle. |
| The picture of Mickey showed up a lot better on the castle. |
| We had a couple of worn out kids. Brinley fell asleep and Landon was having a little spell. |
We picked up a few souvenirs before heading out the gates for a final time on this trip. I remember as a child my parents told us to look at the castle one last time because the next time we would be bringing our own children. I didn't do this with Brinley and Landon, because I want to come back again myself!
| The kids were so exhausted that they fell asleep in the car on the 10 minute ride to the hotel. |
| Worn out little girl. |
This trip proved to be even more enjoyable that I could have ever imagined. The kids were so excited with every new character that they met and every new ride they rode. It is truly a magical place and I know that they probably won't ever remember this adventure because they are so young, but I am so glad that we took them. The pictures and stories will last forever. Thanks for reading and God bless!
