UK Game with Both Kids

I took Brinley to a game earlier this year and she loved it. I planned to take Landon at some point too just to be fair, but things worked out for us all to go again this year. You might have seen where I entered a contest of a picture of Brinley and I for a set of UK basketball tickets. We ended up winning and scored some tickets in the lower arena. After I couldn't find anyone that wanted to use our tickets in the upper arena we decided to just take both kids.
Brinley in her favorite spot. She doesn't have to worry about not being able to see when she is on my shoulders.
Me and the kiddos. Landon didn't want to put down his ticket.
View from our seats. I hadn't sit this close to the court since I was a student at UK. We were able to see the action better live instead of having to watch on the replay screen.
My little cheerleader and I supporting the CATS!
My little crew. They can be so funny sometimes.
My wildcat family. I couldn't have been any happier than with these 3 people. They are my absolute favorite in the whole world.
Landon and his mommy. Here Landon is chugging his watered down icee!
Landon and Brinley consumed an entire feast while at the game. It would have cost us a small fortune if we hadn't brought some of our own snacks. They ate M&Ms, cheese crackers, Froot Loops, Doritos, cookies, and they shared an icee. This was all after we had dinner at Sawyer's and they both ate well. Here Landon was showing off just how cheesy his hands were after the Doritos.
Both kids acted pretty good for all things considered. We used our regular tickets to get them into the game, but we all decided to sit in the seats that we won. Thankfully the seat beside us didn't show up so we got an extra seat to spread out a little. After halftime we started to lose Landon and instead of making all of the nearby fans listen to his screaming we let him look at pictures on Jennifer's phone.
We spotted Scratch taking pictures a few sections over so we hurried out to see if we could get one. The kids were excited and gave him high fives after their picture.
Towards the end of the game a concession worker approached us and asked if the kids could have these cookies. We said sure and the kids loved it. They definitely consumed way too many calories, but it was a special treat to go to the game.
Happy Heflin's after another wildcat victory! So glad that I have been able to take the kids to experience the Greatest College Basketball Tradition! Also we enjoyed getting to wear our new jerseys that we got each other for Christmas.
I think everyone should get to experience RUPP Arena a some point during their life. It is amazing to see 23,000+ wildcat fans on their feet cheering on the CATS. Thanks for reading and God bless!
